A highlight of yesterday’s 4th annual MEF CEO Summit, held at London tech-incubator Level 39 in Canary Wharf, was the Meffys Innovation session where seven mobile start-ups were invited to pitch their business ideas in front of the international executives from member companies and quizzed by an expert panel. The ultimate winner of the night’s award was UK start-up PixelPin which addresses issues of mobile security with an innovative solution that replaces passwords with pictures. MEF has announced the first stimulus speakers at this year’s one-day CEO Summit in London as Lars Fjeldsoe-Nielsen and Victor Basta. Lars Fjeldsoe-Nielsen is Head of Mobile at Dropbox and is responsible for mobile strategy and consumer electronics partnerships, including the global deals that ensure Dropbox is embedded on handsets across 300 mobile operators worldwide.
