MEF appoints new EMEA General Manager

IMG_0280MEF has appointed Sally Harvey as General Manager of its EMEA Chapter.  Harvey joins MEF as an experienced mobile industry executive having held senior roles at the ISBA and most recently The Mobile Marketing Association (MMA) where she was Director of Membership Strategy for EMEA.

Harvey will work directly with the EMEA board which includes representatives from Barclays Bank, Buongiorno NTT Docomo Group, Etisalat Nigeria InMobi, MasterCard, Microsoft, Mobile Technology Tomorrow, Ooredoo, Rabobank, RealNetworks, Viacom and WeChat to help deliver MEF’s EMEA 2014/15 roadmap, including advancing MEF’s Mobile Money Initiative in the region and overseeing the launch of a new programme focused on connecting start-ups with its membership.

Harvey joins the MEF team ahead of MEF Global Forum 2014 (November 17 – 19 in San Francisco) which brings together industry thought leaders to share insights and best practice with a global audience of senior executives.  She will also be attending MEF Connects Africa in Cape Town where Growth & Innovation in Sub-Saharan Africa will be discussed by speakers including Etisalat Nigeria, Mozilla, Mahindra Comviva, TIMWE and Viacom Media Networks International.
