MEF Global Board Elections 2013 in Pictures

Unable to attend this year’s Global AGM? Check out the photos from the evening where four new Directors were elected by the membership on to the MEF Global Board representing DMG Media, mBlox, Pearson and TIMWE.

The Global AGM is always a great opportunity for members to get an update on MEF’s activities around the world in the last 12 months, and hear the roadmap for the year ahead.

This year’s meeting was kindly hosted at MEF Member Atos‘ London offices.

The EMEA board met first in the afternoon to catch-up live and debate both the Privacy in Mobile Apps and newly approved EMEA Mobile Money initiative. Then other members joined for the AGM and elections. Representatives from DMG MediaEvidon, Integrat, Kaspersky LabmBloxNazara TechnologiesPearsonTIMWEVserv.mobi stood for election, (see all the candidate bios here) with four being elected:

  • Neil Johnson – Managing Director, DMG Media
  • Andrew Bud – Founder and Director, mBlox
  • Tom Hall – VP Education Technology Partnerships, Pearson
  • Ricardo Carvalho – Co-Founder and Managing Partner, TIMWE

Congratulations to all of the newly elected directors! One of their first responsibilities will be to support MEF’s 10th annual Meffys awards in Silicon Valley on 14th November, being held as part of the inaugural MEF Global Forum.
